I will not join congress says jashwant singh

Senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh on Sunday rejected reports of Congress approaching him for the Lok Sabha polls and said that he will not join Congress. Jaswant Singh also announced that he will file his nomination papers for Lok Sabha polls from Barmer on Monday. "I have been a staunch BJP worker throughout my life.

I will never accept politics of adjustment," said Jaswant Singh. Earlier, Jaswant Singh on Saturday came all guns blazing as he launched a scathing attack on his detractors. Without naming anyone, he said the party was encroached by outsiders who had no regard for party's ideology.

He also stressed on the need to distinguish between the real and the fake BJP. "There is an encroachment on the BJP. It is overtaking the nature and character of the party.

It's so unfortunate that the party has been completely taken over by outsiders, who never have had any respect of the party's ideology," Jaswant Singh told reporters in Jodhpur. "The BJP is now divided into two factions, one which is real and the other is fake. But unfortunately, the fake faction has the reins of the party now.

One has to reflect upon the principles for which the party stood and the direction in which it is being led now," by BJP leadership from Barmer constituency from where the veteran leader wished to contest his "last" election. Despite Singh's preference for the Barmer seat, BJP announced Col. Sonaram, who recently quit Congress, candidate for the Lok Sabha election from Barmer.

Madonna flaunts unshaven armpits

Madonna flaunts unshaven armpits

Singer Madonna has flaunted her cleavage in a photograph shared on a social networking platform, but it is her unshaven armpits that are drawing attention. In a recent selfie from Madonna on Instagram, she is seen wearing a lacy revealing top with her cleavage showing, and she has raised one of her arms to flaunt her armpit hair growth.

"Long hair…… Don't Care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove (sic)," she captioned the photograph. Earlier, she had once revealed skipping her armpit shaving routine. "I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn't fit into that," she told Harper's Bazaar in 2011, adding: "So I decided to do the opposite. I refused to wear makeup, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits."

sri lanka won meatch 5 runs SA

World T20: Perera, Mathews shine as Lanka beat SA by 5 runs
The two-time ICC World Twenty20 finalists, Sri Lanka, began their ICC World T20 campaign with a thrilling five-run win over explosive South Africa in their Group 1 match of the Super 10 stage at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chittagong on Saturday.

Skipper Dinesh Chandimal's decision to bat first almost backfired after Sri Lanka lost three of their star batsmen - Tillakaratne Dilshan(0), Mahela Jayawardene(9) and Kumar Sangakkara(14) - cheaply against the Proteas. Dale Steyn, who recovered from his injury just in time to make the playing eleven, struck early to scalp the dangerous Dilshan for a golden duck. It was Dilshan's eighth duck, placing him second in the list of most ducks in T20 internationals behind Luke Wright's nine. Despite losing their star batsmen, Sri Lanka managed to post 165 runs at the loss of seven wickets following Kusal Perera's quickfire 61 off 40 balls while Angelo Mathews provided the late flourish with his knock of 43 runs off 32 balls.

Leg-spinner Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa with his spell of 3/26 in four overs alongside Morne Morkel's economical 2/31.

In reply to the Lankan innings, South Africa got off to a good start with both Quinton de Kock(25) and Hashim Amla(23) adding crucial runs. But, that was until Lasith Malinga wreaked havoc on the Proteas' openers and scalped De Kock to put a lid on the run-rate. JP Duminy(39) and AB de Villiers(24) added an all important partnership to bring South Africa back in the game.

And yet again, Sri Lanka managed to get the breakthrough as Angelo Mathews(1/21) scalped De Villiers to bring another twist in the game. The introduction of spin worked wonders for the Lankans as Sachithra Senanayake(2/22) - who had scalped Hashim Amla earlier - got rid of dangerous JP Duminy(39) to rattle the South African chase. David Miller(19) was the baton bearer for South Africa as he kept Proteas in the hunt only to miss out by five runs at the end against the likes of Lasith Malinga(1/29).

AB de Villiers, the stand-in skipper for Proteas following the hamstring strain of Faf du Plessis, would surely rue the chances of restricting the Lankans at a less competitive total. South Africa will need to win against New Zealand in their next match to stay afloat in the tournament while Sri Lanka - with an all important win today - will lock horns with the explosive Netherlands team on Monday.

Brief Scores: Sri Lanka: 1657/ after 20 overs(Kusal Perera 61, Angelo Mathews 43; Imran Tahir 3/26, Morne Morkel 2/31)

South Africa: 160/8 after 20 overs(JP Duminy 39, Quinto de Kock 25; Sachithra Senanayake 2/22, Lasith Malinga 1/29)

Debris possibly related to MH370 spotted: Australian PM

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Sunday that small pieces of debris were spotted in the southern Indian Ocean.

The PM also added that it was too early to confirm their linkage to the missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 flight.
Abbott announced the latest update on the ongoing search before leaving Papua New Guinea on Sunday morning.
"Yesterday, one of our civilian search aircraft got visuals of a number of objects in a fairly small area in the overall Australian search zone," Xinhua quoted Abbott as telling reporters.
He said that a wooden pallet was among the spotted items.
In the meantime, he warned that it was too early to draw too firm a conclusion. "Obviously before we can be too specific about what it might be, we need to recover this material. It's still too early to be definite," he said.
The prime minister also mentioned that on Sunday, four more aircraft, two from China and two from Japan, will join the search.
Regarding the new satellite imagery released Saturday by China, he said that it suggests at least one large object.
He said that there is increasing hope that the authorities might solve the mystery of the missing aircraft.
